According to the local paper, Ambrose is not happy with the outcome
of the trial. He wants a second opinion. So another trial will be the
first Monday of the new year. May Justice Prevail...

It's not another trial, it's a hearing. I think it is called an appeal. And the judge that rendered the decision set the date with a higher court.
I am sure justice will prevail although sometimes it does not. There have been plenty of judicial actions made which were overturned by a higher court. And there have been plenty of judicial decisions made which later proved to be in error.
But one way or another we'll all need to be bound by the final outcome.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the Mirror does not update their website as soon as they publish. I looked there first on Monday and there was nothing there about it so the next natural place to look was the Journal. I have not yet gotten my copy of the Mirror in the mail. Thanks for the reference!
