I received this invitation yesterday and decided to pas it on. You may, if you like, consider this your invitation. This coalition idea is sweeping the country and several groups like VOCAL (pac) out of Gregg County and ETXCA (pac) out of Hideaway Lake have been formed to help organize all the small conservative patriot groups into larger groups dedicated to becoming more Pro Active in local and state political races. The Upshur County Grassroots Tea Party has already formed associations with Vocal, and ETXCA and intends to link with as many other Constitutionally Conservative groups as possible, so that our voices can be more often heard and at sufficient numbers as to get our capitals attention. The Upshur County Conservative Coalition promises to be Pro Active in recruiting and supporting 'true conservative candidates for public office' while discourage candidates from jumping parties just for a better chance to get elected (Rhino, Cino, & Dino). Something many of us feel our local parties are not doing. Cinos (conservatives in name only) and Rhinos have fragmented the American political landscape and we must become better at identifying them before they are elected to public office.

I am just so happy for these people! They are a group of people whose purpose is to recruit, support and elect constitutional conservative candidates for public office beginning at the county level. The good part is they don't have to wait 2 more years until the next election to find them. It just so happens, I have 4 candidates running for public office on the county level that hold these same ideas as mentioned above.

Well, it appears to maybe be a good thing. But the over riding question would be, just how do you qualify for their endorsement? There must be some test based on either voting record, public stance or something. The qualifications for the CCC would have to be codified to provide everyone the opportunity to demonstrate that they are indeed Constitutional Conservatives, regardless of party. It is not really possible to just go by what people say they are. It's too easy to say one thing and do another, we've all seen plenty of that in politics. No , we need people that exude Conservatism from every pore of their being and have for a good long while; Political life, Personal life, Family life, Religious life, everything. Otherwise it is too easy to be a charlatan or chameleon. Just how will the CCC do this?
ReplyDeleteIf a candidate seeks the endorsement of the UCCC PAC, that candidate will have to offer proof. First in answering a questionnaire; of which, is being prepared as we speak. If a candidate is new to political life and has no constitutionally conservative record it will be up to the candidate to prove their conservative credentials to the UCCC and if that cannot be done to the UCCC PAC's satisfaction, the board of directors can chose not to endorse. The UCCC PAC is not obligated to endorse any candidate nor can we control a candidates' actions once elected. But we can make educated decisions based on our surveys, questionnaires, and records, and pass that information on to PAC members. Who in turn may or may not use said information at the polls. We do not offer magic bullets only the hard work of compiling known information and making it available to members.
ReplyDeleteIf a candidate meets the criteria of the UCCC PAC we will be prepared to render as much aide; publicity, financial and man power as our membership will allow. The opposite will be true if a candidate uses any deception to try to gain the UCCC's endorsement.
All I have to say about the UCCC is Heil Hilter. Instead of Remember the Alamo Upshur County people need to Remember the Brown Shirts
ReplyDeleteBeing a member of the UpCoCC is a privilege because it is comprised of like-minded people who believe that the United States is still the land of Liberty and Justice for ALL. The UpCoCC intends to seek and find qualified people with character and integrity to run for offices at the county level and try to replace the "flip-floppers" that have infiltrated the ranks of the true Republican Party. We know who they are and they are probably hearing footsteps coming up behind them for their next election cycle. Maybe, they even feel the hot breath on their necks. I hope so!!
ReplyDeleteFlip floppers, rinos etc...UCCC is full of manipulators and liars. go to www.ucrp.us and see how they started, but not trusting the voters, by closing the hq and bank accounts so there would not be a smooth transition, by trying to strip the new chairman of all powers, including being county party spokesman, setting dates and agendas for meetings and appointing folks to different offices...ALL privileges Brenda Patterson had at the beginning of the April22, 2110 meeting( the day she certified the elections in which she was defeated.) Madaline Barber and Cynthia Ridgeway were partners with the defeated chair and have continued to act in ways which are not consistent with Godly, conservative Republicans. If you don't believe me, look for yourself.
