Let's talk about what's happening in Upshur County...
Be sure not to vote for this hand picked Brenda Patterson candidate:

What a disgrace.
If he can't control his animal urges, what will he do if he gets in office????
He's not the only " Hand Picked" Brenda Patterson candidate on the ballot that you don't want to vote for. Be real careful what you ask for.
ReplyDeleteCan someone coherently explain the timing of the lawsuit against Ken Ambrose? You know the one that was plastered below the masthead of the Gilmer Mirror this past week. Two weeks BEFORE the election. How does that help the Republican Party? Perhaps they don't want to help the party at all. Don't ya think it could have waited until AFTER the election?
ReplyDeleteThe three persons who have sued Ken Ambrose have done so to force him to act like a County Chairman should. He won't acknowledge the 11 precinct chairs that out vote him and he won't conduct meetings by Roberts Rules of Order nor has he allowed NEW Bylaws to be voted on by the Elected Precinct Chairs. He brought in his appointed, 6 Vice-Chairmen and other Committee Chairmen to vote so he could out vote the REAL Precinct Chairmen. HE IS A BIG MOUTH BULLY. YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE. BLOWHARD FROM CALIFORNIA WHO LIVES ON A FARM--NOT A RANCH! THAT'S WHAT WE CALL WHAT HE LIVE ON IN TEXAS!
ReplyDeleteIn direct respond to the above post..the real chairman is Ken Ambrose, voted in by the voters of Upshur...wish the out going chairman and especially Madaline Barber would realize that fact. The bylaws changes can be seen on www.rpuc.us website...it is a real eye opener...what the Executive Board did on the very day Brenda Patterson certified the election in which she was defeated, she tried to change the bylaws so Ambrose would have no power but Madaline would and basically they were bad sports, NOT TRUE CONSERVATIVES who abide by elections whether they like them or not.
