Well it looks like the County Judge, The Sheriff and one of the
Commissioners have been charged with... OPPRESSION !! Be sure to
watch channel 7 news at 10 pm tonight for all the details.

Commissioner Court

The Court met a day early this time. It seems we will have public
comment again but they kicked the can down the road again and will
let the new court decide who and how it will be done. I am sure they
will mess it up but it will be fun to watch and will be educational
for the two new members. Well happy new year to everyone!

Eclipse

According to the local paper, Ambrose is not happy with the outcome
of the trial. He wants a second opinion. So another trial will be the
first Monday of the new year. May Justice Prevail...

Commissioners Court

Well putting duct tape on your mouth and going to the court house has
become so popular that people are coming from other counties to
participate. The news cameras were rolling and the show was on. One
Commissioner tried to rush the meeting to end but the other two
decided that " The show must go on ". The judge decided there was a
better place to be today and there were no signs of the sheriff or a
deputy on hand to threaten any of the tape wearers. Oh Upshur Co. you
never let us down.

Republican vs Republican

Well the trial is over, and the winner is.... I don't know and I
really don't care. The Democrat Judge seemed to have fun watching
them go at each other and Ordered them to get along. His closing
remarks quoting Will Rogers, " I am not a member of an organized
political party, I'm a Democrat". But after watching this trial I
believe Mr. Rogers may have been a Republican. Was classic.

Still the same old stuff

Well the Guy with the tape on his mouth was there again, Seems he was
threatened with jail if he didn't leave. Now you can't speak and
There is only certain ways you can be Quite. We also got the first
report from the Road Engineer. Seem they've been doing it wrong all
along. Well it's always good for a Laugh!!
