To our right-leaning friends – What, specifically, to you expect of the Republicans in control of the Upshur county commissioners court over the next two years such that if these things are not accomplished you will consider it a failure? And- What, specifically, do you expect of the Republicans in control of the entire state government by an overwhelming margin to do over the next two years, such that, if these things are not accomplished you will consider it a failure?

Stop the fussing and fix the roads. Decrease the budget and lower property taxes. State... Secure the borders, both north and south, cut the budget and lower taxes. No more over reaching mandates. Read the republican platform and follow it.
ReplyDeleteSTOP the Sheriff's Department from charging gasoline at various stations and make them use the county barn's gasoline! It's 20 cents cheaper. The Commissioners pay bills each month from $5,000 to $9,000 per month besides paying for gasoline that is used at the barn. I wonder if Mama is getting her gasoline on those credit cards as well? We're paying for this convenience card for the Sheriff's office!!

ReplyDeleteThe rail road crossing at Holly and 155 South is so bad.. You darn near have to stop to go across it...
The roads in the area have various pot holes and some places the road is down to the base...
What the heack are we tax payers paying that over priced Engineer for...

Taxes .. don't know about some of you... but mine have doubled in the last two years... I own Less Property Then I did Two Years Ago?
