RUNOFF RALLY!



There is going to be a Rally for Brandy Lee and Brenda Patterson at 7:00 PM on Tuesday night at the Steve Dean hangar at the Gilmer Airport.  Cole Hefner is invited, but he probably will be working in his own precinct Tuesday night.  We especially hope to get some people out to this who did not vote at all on March 2nd, so maybe, they will vote this time in the "runoff".  Please invite as many people as you can.  These women need your help and word of mouth, either by telephone, Facebook, e-mail and/or your own mouth can really help them now.   Thanks,

    Very important questions really need to be addressed at this shindig. Like how much these elections are costing the TAXPAYERS of Upshur County because Patterson refused to sign a contract. As of right now it has cost the taxpayers way over $30,000.00 and that is not including the run-off election cost. I keep hearing that the Secretary of State is reimbursing for these costs but where do you think they get that money??? From the taxpayers, that's where. And Brenda Patterson could care less what it's costing the taxpayers because she is NOT ONE considering she is in major default with her property taxes. In her distorted and twisted mind does that make her a Conservative Republican by NOT paying taxes?? Maybe she is not paying property taxes because they are not residing at the property that is in default? Questions to ponder.

    I want to state that a vote for Brandy Lee and/or Cole Hefner is really a vote for Brenda Patterson because she (along with Crittenden) will be the ones controlling these positions and offices. Is she vying with Lauren Parrish for major control of this county?

    This just in.....the story going around now is that Brandy Lee plans to hire Ken Patterson in the Clerk's office to run the computers if she is elected and she will also hire Rhonda Welch's daughter. Fact or fiction? It would be nice for Mr Patterson to finally have a job, don't you think?? Then maybe he and BP could finally move out of the GOP HQ's and get a place of their own that is not being funded by Party donations!

    The Republican Club of Upshur County met
    Tuesday night with appx. 30 people present. There were five candidates present. These were the candidates that were NOT invited to the Republican Rally. Don't know how the "Republican Party" picks the candidates that they want to back. I guess that you just have to be controlable.

    Who knows where the Republican Rally was. Unless you are in their clique you never know what the evil empire is up to. There are members of the Republican Executive Committee that are not notified about meetings... Hmmm Very Interesting

    As I noted in my article in today's Gilmer paper, the Patterson/Lee rally was at the Gilmer airport. I do not endorse or oppose any candidate since I cover politics for area newspapers, and am providing this information only because someone said they didn't know where the rally was held.
