Made a motion to send out for resumes for an Engineer. B.F. and L.C.
were against it, Campbell had no comment and our wonderful County
Judge said he had been contacted by lots of people who said they like
who we have now so there will be no change. The voters have spoken
and the politicians have ignored!

Looks like we have quite a stalemate... The commissioners want to keep the unit system diminished while the county as a whole want an engineer and the unit system to work as designed. The only solution is to elect enlightened commissioner candidates to defeat the current group. Quality challengers need to step up! Guess we'll have another road system election in a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteActually, Crittenten and Campbell voted to hire an engineer, Crabtree and Ferguson voted against and Dean Fowler broke the tie and voted with Crabtree and Ferguson. I don't know why Fowler is afraid of Buddy Ferguson but it is becoming fairly obvious that he is. Now we have to see if Billy Byrd will uphold the law. But, being Upshur Co. I really doubt it. It's probably time you guys move on to other issues
