the Upshur county Libertarians will meet Tuesday May 11, at the
Buckeye Country cafe'. Special guest speaker will be Amie Parsons
from the state party. Anyone interested in the Libertarian Party is
encouraged to come out and get information. Time 6:30pm.

No change in the recount

There was no change in the recount. Ken Ambrose is the Chairman of
the Upshur Republican party.

Recount

There will be a recount of votes for the Republican Chairman or
Chairwoman Monday May 3rd.

The new Republicans

Well the Republican club met last night with the new Chairman of the
Party. Did anyone attend? How did it go?

Libertarians

The local paper says ''Libertarians advocate abolishing the IRS'' ,
Now there's an idea I can get behind.

TEA Party

About 250 people attended the Upshur TEA party today. Most were
Republicans but there were a few Libertarians and I did see at least
one Democrat. The weather was great, the music was good, and the
speakers stayed on topic. Non-partisan. Free water and lots of good
information. They will take the show up the road Sunday to Mt.
Pleasant, Where Congressman Louie Ghomert will be the headliner.
