Commissioners court

OK , I did not see a lot of you in court. So heres the scoop. J.C.
Made a motion to send out for resumes for an Engineer. B.F. and L.C.
were against it, Campbell had no comment and our wonderful County
Judge said he had been contacted by lots of people who said they like
who we have now so there will be no change. The voters have spoken
and the politicians have ignored!

Well the Commissioners are gonna try again to get us an engineer for
our roads. Monday, December 15th. I will be holding my breath, So go
ahead and dial 91 and hold your finger on the 1.

Unit road system

OK it passed AGAIN. Now we want an engineer. Lets put pressure on the
commissioners and county judge. WE WANT AN ENGINEER.

Well election day is here. We will either have socialism or a lot of
socialism.

Commissioners court

The fiasco we call commissioners court met again today. As usual
there seems to be one commissioner that does not understand that it
takes a village to run a sheriffs department.

Brenda Patterson escorted out of the courthouse on Monday. What is
this about?

Unit Road System

It's time again for treats on the Square. So put on your costume and come on down and join the fun on the square Saturday at 5pm.

Candidate Forum

Well, the TAUC candidate forum was held tonight. There were lots of good questions and responses.

There seemed to be some differing opinions on how we came to have a road adminstrator instead of an engineer. I'd be interested to go back and find the minutes from that particular meeting or meetings and see what really happened.
